ICoCSPA 2018 invites abstract submissions and presentations that focus on how the struggle for power has taken various forms in today global digital age; How elites have harnessed globalization and the advancement of information technologies to sustain their status quo? How have these two forces facilitated the emergence of a new source of power? How have they empowered certain social groups, while at the same time leaving others disadvantaged? Which socio-cultural practices have thrived in today digital era? Which are subsided? Finally, with digital divide is found to be persisted, how those with less access to information survive today global digital age?
